Pricing & engagement
How much do your services cost?
Managed IT and general work is $110/hr; specialised work (systems integration, AI and automation projects) is $160/hr. Every job gets a written quote before work starts, with a two-hour minimum engagement and 14-day payment terms. Full details on the services page.
Do you require lock-in contracts?
No. You can engage us on a monthly retainer (a set number of hours, priority response) or purely ad-hoc. Scale up or down whenever you like — you only pay for the hours you use.
Will I really get a quote before any work starts?
Yes, always. We scope the job, put the quote in writing, and only start once you've approved it. If something unexpected emerges mid-job, we stop and re-quote — the clock never quietly ticks.
Who will actually do the work?
The same person you speak to on the phone — one accountable local expert with more than two decades of IT experience. No ticket roulette, no offshore call centre, no "let me read the notes from the last person."
Service area & logistics
What areas do you service?
We're based in Humpty Doo and provide on-site services across Darwin, Palmerston, Litchfield and the rural area. Remote support covers the whole Territory — most day-to-day issues don't need a site visit.
How quickly do you respond?
Enquiries are answered within one business day, usually much sooner. Retainer clients get priority response. For urgent issues, phone is always fastest: 08 7970 0002.
Can you work with our existing IT provider?
Yes. Many clients keep an existing arrangement for hardware or telco and bring us in for Microsoft 365, automation, integration or AI work. We play well with others.
Services
What exactly do you do?
Four core services: managed IT services, AI implementation, systems integration and automation solutions — backed by specialist skills in Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, SharePoint, GIS and database development.
We're a small business — is AI really relevant to us?
Often yes, and sometimes no — and we'll tell you which honestly. The practical wins for small business are usually document processing, answering staff questions from your own documents, and email triage. Start with our article Practical AI for Top End businesses.
Is our data safe with AI and cloud tools?
When set up properly, yes. We configure solutions under enterprise terms, keep data in your own tenancy where possible, and never let your data train public models. We'll explain any solution's data flow in plain English before you commit.
Do you build websites too?
Our focus is systems, integration, automation and AI rather than marketing websites — but if your website needs to talk to your business systems (bookings, forms, payments flowing into your CRM or accounting package), that's exactly our kind of job.
What happens after a project is delivered?
You get plain-English documentation and a proper handover. After that it's your call: support it yourself, keep a small retainer for peace of mind, or call us ad-hoc when something changes. No lock-in either way.
